Keep the full product name
Polished or honed? Confirm the finish first.
MSI lists Calacatta Miraggio Cielo in polished and honed versions. The polished surface has a reflective appearance; the honed version has a softer, lower-sheen appearance. Compare both in person if finish is an important part of your selection.
Polished selection
Look at reflected light as well as the background and veining. Bring the same sample into the room where the countertop will be installed to evaluate the overall effect.
Honed selection
Ask for the exact honed product when requesting a sample or quote. Check its available thickness, sourcing and care directions separately from the polished version.
Cambria, MSI and other quartz brands use their own product names and finish ranges. If you are comparing brands, keep the manufacturer, complete design name and finish on each selection.

Keep these details consistent
- Countertop dimensions and material thickness.
- Sink and cooktop models, plus all required openings.
- Edge profile and exposed ends.
- Rear splash, full-height splash or waterfall pieces.
- Removal, delivery and installation requirements.
Ask what changes between options
Material cost and the proposed slab layout may differ by design. Ask how each option covers the full piece list and where seams are proposed, especially when the surface has visible movement.

MSI Q quartz: everyday use and cleaning.
MSI’s care guidance says Q quartz does not need sealing. Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent, follow the approved cleaning directions and wipe up spills promptly.
Use a trivet or hot pad under hot cookware and heat-producing appliances. Use a cutting board for food preparation. A low-maintenance surface still needs appropriate care around heat, sharp tools and impact.
